Hip Hip Hooray!

Well, the past month and this month have found our family at many a dance competitions. If it's Saturday, you will find us following all the other families with girls waiting to compete. When Kevin needs directions, I just tell him to "follow the sequins and feathers". It makes for crazy weekends with Kendon playing soccer too, but there is nothing else I would rather be doing. I love watching my kids at all the things they love to do. I do however, officially live in my van. Both girls do cheerleading and I am so proud of them. They have come a long way and although it isn't always easy they have stuck it out. I think they both look so cute in their uniforms! My camera didn't take the best shots but oh well!
Kourtney, Kayla, and Kennedy waiting for the awards to start.

A quick picture before we go. Their hair-do this year causes a lot of tears to get done, but hey, it's worth it right? Looks really good when done!
And a little shout out to their little brother Kendon. Who just needs his box of popcorn and a Sprite and he's good to go. Sometimes I worry he's been there to long when he tells me he "doesn't like some peoples costumes". :)

Don't be jealous that he's famous.

So we have been waiting for Kevin's face to show up on the Biggest Loser on NBC. We thought for sure this would be the week since the contestants got to go home and Kevin was there at the taping back in December. Anyway, my friend Miki and I stopped the show frame by frame to look for him and lo and behold we found him....
Is that not the best looking arm/fist pump you've ever seen?? (He's actually taking some pictures for someone). But there he is. Looks good Kevin! We think we might have seen your forehead as well. Ahh, to be famous....

Afternoon with Dad

So everyone that knows Kevin knows that he loves snowmobiling. Kendon and Kennedy are always asking to go with him so one afternoon last week he took them on a little ride up in Butterfield Canyon. They loved every minute of it and it was a gorgeous day. I loved the quiet afternoon! And then, I walked downstairs at 7:30 and this is what I found.
Looks like the fun wore them out!

"The Look"

I just have to give this picture a post of it's own. I was taking pictures of the kids while they were making Santa cookies and I snapped it at this exact moment. This is the look Kevin and I get when we say something "lame" in Kourtney's eyes. I love it. Makes me laugh every time I see it. This time it was her dad that said something stupid. I'm sure we will be seeing this look many more times in the future. :)

Valentine's Day

Here are just a few shots of Valentine's Day this year. (not sure what is up with my camera and the crappy picture quality!) The kids always wake up to a little treat from me and Kevin. Then I try to make their lunch with as much valentine creativity as I can muster. It's hard to surprise them at lunch though when Kennedy always checks her lunch on the way to school to make sure she is going to want to eat what I've given her. They all had fun at their classroom parties and then at night we set the table for a romantic dinner for 5. I slaved over a hot stove as I baked them the heart shaped pizza they've been wanting from Papa Murphy's.

Happy 5th Birthday Kendon!

My youngest turned 5 last month! How old am I?? Where does the time go? We love Kendon. He is such a sweet boy yet has so much energy. His favorite things right now are anything SuperHero. He love to wrestle with his dad, me, and his sisters. He loves to play soccer and baseball. This year was the first year that he had a friend party and needless to say I was a little nervous to host so many boys. But it was so fun! There is no drama with boys. I know he had a good time because at the end of the day while I was trying to clean up he came up to me and said, "Mom, this is the best day ever. I love you." Makes it all worth it. Hope he has another healthy, happy, year.

December 2010

We love the month of December around here. The best part about it was that we were on B Track so the kids had the whole month off. At first I thought that would be the worst, but it actually is so nice not to have any homework or the rush to get home to bed. And when it snows we get to be the first ones to go sledding in it in the morning. So out of 1000 pictures here are some random ones. It was a great time!
It was so cold that our hill that we live on turned into a fun place to sled! Then we headed to the park for more fun.

Christmas Sunday
The Ice cream Shop at Thanksgiving Point. Kourtney looks a tad confused. :0
Kendon's School Christmas Program.
Decorating Santa's cookies on Christmas Eve.
Kourtney and Kennedy got American Girl stuff this year. Kendon got a skateboard and Superhero Squad toys. The girls were up at 5:00 in the morning! I made them wait until 7 before they could wake up their brother and dad!
