December 2010

We love the month of December around here. The best part about it was that we were on B Track so the kids had the whole month off. At first I thought that would be the worst, but it actually is so nice not to have any homework or the rush to get home to bed. And when it snows we get to be the first ones to go sledding in it in the morning. So out of 1000 pictures here are some random ones. It was a great time!
It was so cold that our hill that we live on turned into a fun place to sled! Then we headed to the park for more fun.

Christmas Sunday
The Ice cream Shop at Thanksgiving Point. Kourtney looks a tad confused. :0
Kendon's School Christmas Program.
Decorating Santa's cookies on Christmas Eve.
Kourtney and Kennedy got American Girl stuff this year. Kendon got a skateboard and Superhero Squad toys. The girls were up at 5:00 in the morning! I made them wait until 7 before they could wake up their brother and dad!

Christmas 2009

We kept getting Snuggies as white elephants so now we have one for everybody! They played Mario Brothers on the Wii for a long time.
Kourtney got Chrissa, her American Doll and lots of art stuff.
Kennedy was up at 4:00 a.m. dumping her stocking out. I made her go back to bed until 7. She got Dora the Explorer Girl. (The teenage Dora, not the "baby" one. :)
Kendon loved decorating the tree. He would go to his room and find toys that he could add to the tree. It looked fabulous to say the least.

Here is Kendon with his very special toy he wanted so bad! "Rocky the Robot Truck". Whenever he saw a picture of Santa with presents he would tell us, "that present is Rocky and it's for me."
Kevin and Kendon at temple square.

It was a busy Christmas once again. I feel it gets even busier as the kids get older. We have school parties, dance, cheerleading, preschool stuff, family, etc. It was a whirlwind of activities. We did squeeze in some fun stuff though. The kids had a fun Christmas. They were so excited for Santa to show up this year. All month long if they were being naughty they would immediately ask, "Am I on the naughty list??" So thank goodness for the naughty list. They were all happy with what they got. It was a fun month!
