December 2010

We love the month of December around here. The best part about it was that we were on B Track so the kids had the whole month off. At first I thought that would be the worst, but it actually is so nice not to have any homework or the rush to get home to bed. And when it snows we get to be the first ones to go sledding in it in the morning. So out of 1000 pictures here are some random ones. It was a great time!
It was so cold that our hill that we live on turned into a fun place to sled! Then we headed to the park for more fun.

Halloween 2010

Yep, I'm just now getting to my Halloween post. I have just found my cord that downloads my pictures so now I can catch up. All I can remember about Halloween last year is that I think I dressed up my kids in their costumes 100 times. And by the time the 31st came I wanted nothing to do with Halloween anymore. :) Kids always love it though so I guess that's all that matters.

I just have to give a little shout out to my oldest Kourtney. I've just been noticing and have had a lot of people telling me recently how grown up she seems. ( I know the height has something to do with this). People have always thought she is so much older that she is. She is such a good girl. Always trying so hard to do her best. She is somewhat of a perfectionist but I am so grateful for her and what a good daughter she is. Especially when I come into my room and there she is reading Spiderman books to her brother, or pulls out all of his monster trucks to play with him. And knowing that she's always looking out for Kennedy at school. These moments make all those looks that could turn me to stone all worth it!! :) I love you Kourt. -Mom

Proud Aunt Alert!

So this is my new niece. She has changed a bit since she was born but I love this pic I took of her in the hospital. And the best part about this sweet baby? She is named after me! Her middle name is Kamille. That's right, I am awesome like that. Actually, I think it's the double-chin resemblance that made my sister name her this. :) Either way, I am honored and so glad she is here in our family.

Proud Sister Alert!

So here is my awesome brother. I just had to write a little bit about him because I am so proud! Bubs, (his real name is Kristofer but we never call him that), has headed to Kentucky to attend medical school. I always knew he would do great things. We miss him and his cute wife like crazy and it's only been 3 months since he's been gone! But I think this white coat suits him well and I wish him the best in this new chapter of his life. Hopefully I will be able to pack up the fam and go visit him in the near future. Good luck Dr! :) We love you!!!

Kennedy's 6th Birthday

So, I'm 2 months late with this post. But better late than never right? Our family clown turned 6 in August. Kennedy loves candy so instead of making a cake, we just had jars full of different kinds of candy. And then I made sugar cookie gumball machines just to show I put some effort into it! :) And note to self...Make sure your kids are in cute pajamas when it's their birthday the next day!
She had her friend party at Jump on It down in Lindon. Then we had her family party at the splash park. A fun filled couple of days.

Kennedy is a joy to be around. She is so helpful and never asks why when I ask her to do something. Her first couple of years were a little rough, but it's all good now. These are the things Kennedy is into right now.
The girl still loves her money. If change drops on the floor, her ears perk up and she stops doing everything until she finds it.
She loves school.
She loves her cheerleading class.
She loves webkinz, trampolines, playing outside, her American Girl Doll.
She is kind.
She is hilarious.
We love you Kennedy. You are such a special part of this family and thanks for making us smile each and every day.

First Day of School 2010

I thought I would wait until all 3 kids had their first days of school before posting the pics. Because I'm lazy like that. :) It's strange to have 3 days a week where all the kids are out of the house. You would be amazed at what one can get done, even if it is only for a few hours. All three love their teachers and love to be at school. I hope they have a great year.

People always ask if they are twins and in a way they should be! They have been together since they were 6 months old. It will be sad when they have to go to different Kindergartens next year. :(
